I have never cheated on my husband, but I have heard that it takes about 2 years for someone to get over their feelings for that person.

alot depends on how long the affair lasted and how deep your feelings went for the other person.
Probably think of them every day
especially if the affair was ended by being caught
more time with the other person might have lead to kicking old spouse to the curb

Mine was years ago and i dont even care to think about the person anymore... Does nothing for me... I love my husband and would never dream of having an affair on him or my marriage now... I learned my lesson years ago. Mine was when i was married to my first husband well over 10 years ago.
