I am looking for any information about any foreign language teacher you may know/have known who has had radiation therapy for throat cancer who has/has not gone back to work...and problems encountered.

If the patient has only had radiotherapy without surgery, there should be absolutely no problem except for reduced saliva production and stiffness of the throat walls. If the patient had surgery, the answer would depend on the extent and location of the ablation.
