Don't you wish you'd had a hamster instead? I'm trying to install a printer, its been four hours now. I'm seriously contemplating throwing the computer out of the window - followed closely by the printer.
I'm getting to the stage, where I hate computers and all their peripherals.

Pull your USB receiver off and look at it closely, fiddle with it. The button on mine is on the back not the side so pressoon everything. One you find a button hook it up and press the button, then press the button on the mouse. With some wireless mice they have to be withing 3 feet of each other to read reliably, and you only have 15 seconds from the time you press the first button so be prepared to press the buttons fast. Sometimes when I let mine sit for too long it goes to sleep and I have to do the button buisiness again.

You don't say anything about new batteries, Have you tried that? Also you can unplug the receiver, shutdown and restart the computer and plug the reciever in again. If you don't receive some type of sound or notification that you have plugged in a new device, your mouse may not be compatible with your operating system. Hope this helps.

There could be a "connect" button on the receiver for the mouse. that's, while you're no longer using a bluetooth mouse and pc. And examine the mouse for this variety of button besides. it is likewise attainable the subject is a utility one...possibly the mouse is working large however the driving force is corrupt. try this: outstanding-click "my pc" and choose "properties", decide on the "hardware" tab, and then hit the "gadget supervisor" button. there will be a itemizing of hardware put in on your pc, the single you desire is in all probability below "Mice and different pointing gadgets." you're able to see your mouse below that record. examine if it says there are any conflicts or errors of any variety. And if attainable, replace the driving force for it. you will be able to wish the disk that got here mutually with your mouse.

button should be on the underside normally, or if you have a little stick type USB it should be on the side, ALSO, try to see if the mouse is installed, click on START -- CONTROL PANEL -- PRINTERS & OTHER HARDWARE --- MOUSE and then the hardware tab, you should see your wireless mouse there.

I had the same problem with mine......All you can do is start again and follow the instructions step by step from the manual.
Mine is working great now and I think it is the best £10.00 I ever spent.
Good Luck.
