I've never been to a wedding before let alone, been involved in one before, my sister asked me to be her Maid of Honor, what is their job?

You are her right hand woman! Traditionally, you'll be expected to throw her showers (unless someone else offers and if they do, TAKE THEM UP ON IT!), perhaps help her organize the rehearsal dinner, etc. If your sister is highly organized and anal retnetive, she'll be sure to delegate all your jobs to you. If not, go to the bookstore and find the book listed at the URL below.

Same as the other girls answer, but just help her with things pertaining to the wedding..kinda like being her right hand. Don't worry..it will be fun =o)
