This is a good question to ask shelters for women. They sometimes even have free legal help. Look up women's shelters, give them a call and ask. I believe there's also a 1-800 # you can call to get help. Take a look at http://www.ndvh.org/

leave sister friend. there is no reason for you to stay and put up with any mess. if you are the sole person on the lease break it. file for divorce on the basis of abuse . please be strong and do not go back because his "love" is familiar. get out now. and please do not tell him because he might hurt you real bad. go to a shelter they will help you. good luck and god bless.

Break the lease. Move to Mexico (or any other state where he can't find you). He couldn't afford to go look for you with no job!!!

You need to get away from him and pay for the divorce yourself... Talk to your landlord and move asap!
