You get it from being turned on but unable to release it.
ie. a lot of heavy petting and no actual sex.

It's when you get to the aroused state (not just horny), but almost ready to blow and then for some reason decide not to or whatever. If you do this once and especially twice or three times in a row over a day or two, the pressure build in the testicles and they feel like someone has stepped on them. Then you have to release or the pain is bad.

It has been proven that blue balls is a myth. However, when other guys and I are refering to the pain of "blue balls" it is more of a painful urge to expel love juice then anything. It is not a medical condition. Guys claim it usually when we are turned down and/or excessively teased.
