I'm debating to get a Wii or an iPod, and I'm really wondering if Gamecube games play different than Wii games.

I've also heard that the Wii's material is pretty crappy(If I may say so).

So I was just wandering how the GameCube games are on the Wii, and what you guys think about the console over all.

Thank You, and here, have 2 points. lol

Ok, now about the Wii, can you plug in GameCube memory cards into the Wii to play your GameCube game?

wii games are crazy different than gamecube games because of how you play. POINT, TWIST, AND MOVE (with moving speed is also sensed). wii is MAD FUN and interactive. i will say wii sports gets repetitive if u play alone.

wii material is pretty crappy if ur playing games that try to depict real people like madden or red steel. but some games have pretty good graphics. id say call of duty isnt bad. but games like zelda and wii sports you dont need good graphics. and another thing is that most people dont have the better cable.

the gamcube games are the same on the wii. u just need a gamecube controller.

ya u can just slide ur memory card into the wii

i think 1 gb is like 212 songs and 2 gb is like 500. dont remember apple.com has the info

I've tried Gamecube games on the wii and there is no difference. Just throw that tiny disc in , put your gamecube controller into the top and it plays like normal. It might actually be better if you are using component cables, but I can't say that for sure.
So far I love the wii. The games are great and its going to work really well with online games and other online features. Oh yeah, the also have something called games, (Zelda is the best game out on any system right now.) Wii is growing faster than any system and it is a lot of fun to play (imagine that) and the motion sensing works great.

About the GB thing:
each song takes up about 3-5 Mb depending on the length, quality etc. A GB is 1000 MB so do the math and you can store about 200-350 songs per Gig

you need to buy a special controller to play gamecube games on the wii. you cant use the wireless and motion-sensitive controllers.

too bad. but its the same as playing them on the gamecube.
