Yes ... it is not worth it to keep .. I just put them in a bag for outside use ... like wiping the oil from the dipstick so that I can see oil level, etc. This is a good way to eliminate the cost of purchasing extra rags for that purpose!

I throw them out. I spend a lot of time in my stocking feet, so everyone sees my socks. I can't have holes in them.

I have a whole room full of old socks. Why cant I throw them away.

If I did that, I'd never have to wash them. Socks SUCK nowadays. One wear, and they have a hole in them, either from the steeltoes in the boots, or the sparks falling in your boots...

I don't wear socks that much, but if a pair has a hole, out they go....
