You're comparing apples and oranges.
Cars are either a sedan (4 doors) or a coupe (2 doors).

A roof is called a hardtop, and the opposite would be a convertible(soft top).

A hardtop is a hardtop as compared to a soft-top or convertible.
A coupe relates to the number of doors on a car. A coupe has two doors as compared to a 4 door car.
So you can have a hardtop coupe or a soft-top coupe.

No differince, coupe = two door, sedan= four door, hardtop & convertables found on both

Same thing. Hardtops have no (door) window frames - just like convertibles.
