I want to look the best that I can, and have never had a stylist. Could someone advise me on the length, style, etc...for my body?

If you are a little thick through the middle but have a narrower ribcage go for an Empire waist. If you are shaped kind of like an egg (Thick in the middle with thin legs) go for taylored seaming that cinches you in the middle, and maybe get a very taylored jacket. Since you are fairly tall you can wear just about anything. If you have great legs by all means show them off. If you are over 30 don't wear a hem line more than an inch above the knee. Always compliment you skin tone and hair color. And if you don't have great legs and you want to cover up go for a tuxedo look with a great jacket, shell, and palazzo pants with strappy shoes.

babyweight...yeah right! I've been to a lot of these balls and you should go a slutty as possible, because everybody gets drunk and all the guys will want you and no one else. No panties at all with a very short, short dress. One that your butt hangs out and dance every song shaken dat booty. Oh don't forget to get pictures and send some to me for editing...thanks.

You have the height you can wear anything and look great. I would do a empire waist will camf. midsection and floor length. I would wear black, red, or a navy blue. Dont wear something with alot of sequins it will draw attention to places. Something simple

empire waist would be good if you have baby wieght. or one of the Kimono dresses that are out there(they are figure flattering and wont make you look slutty) (but make sure its a dark color and kinda loose so you dont flaunt the baby wieght) if you have a big butt...show it off.
length- i would go for either just slightly above the knees or floor length
hair- elegant updo or go for soft waves if your hair goes like 4 inches past your shoulders.
