Do MBA admissions send out accept/reject notifications before the response deadline?

Acceptances are often sent out early. Rejections are not.

When I applied to MBA programs, I got acceptance letters from Duke and Cornell in early February and a rejection from Wharton in mid-March.

No MBA give answers well after the response deadline.
