i took both and both were great in different ways. I enjoyed learning about geometry, and it was fun to learn about cooking and sewing. I can't say I'd rate one over the other..because both added to a well-rounded high school experience, however, if i had to choose I would take geometry in school because there are more opportunities to practice home-economics type stuff outside of the school ...you can go home and cook or sew with someone who'll help you on the side, but, it's not so easy to drag a geometry book around and hope for additional practice..both! :) guys took home-ec too and enjoyed it...one made great pancakes, and another sewed a great pillow! :) there were others...we learned how to bake a cake in a jar. now that was cool.

In my opinion it would be home economics because in that study, you will learn more about daily activities on day to day living experience such as cooking taking care of families and loved ones.
