No.

PC2-5300 notebook memory uses 200 pins while PC2-5300 Desktop memory uses 240 pins. In general any notebook memory cannot be used in a Desktop. Of the 200-300 systems I've purchased in the last few years I've never seen one type of memory for both.

a million. Get a computer for gaming commonly, laptops are merely no longer that efficient sufficient compared to laptop in cost. To have a first rate gaming computer it prices almost two times as a lot for an same laptop version. ---------- 2. do no longer purchase a computer or laptop from Alienware, except you actually have the money to burn off and prefer the little glitter and do-da. that's extra often than not a ripoff, yet i assume you get what you pay for in words of high quality. I recommend you both construct your own computer with strong aspects or purchase a first rate pre-made one from strong vendors like 'Ebuyer' or 'Dabs'. ---------- 3. not in any respect performed Maple Stpry earlier, yet commonly gaming computer criteria are: 2GB RAM, a twin center processor or Quad center, a GTS 250 GFX and round 500+ GB of demanding force area. optimal specs might want to be: 4GB RAM, a Quad center processor, a GTX 460 GFX and round seven hundred+ GB of demanding force area. ---------- 4. merely keep on with abode windows 7, it beats XP/Vista in words of performance, plus present day contraptions and drivers do not help XP or Win 2000 via it being a previous platform. abode windows 7 is an truly good OS, assuming to have a semi-first rate computer to cope with it. ---------- average: Get a computer with 4GB RAM, Quad center processor, atleast GTS 250 GFX and 500+ GB demanding force area with abode windows 7 OS.
