im 13 and curios if high heels look bad on girls my age and what age is good age to wear them

It all depends on your overall look and on how you act on them. You can wear 4 or 5 inch heels, but get classy, trendy designer shoes then... (I got my first pair of 4 inch pumps at age 12/13... they were a gorgeous pair of versace shoes)

I think heels should start to be worn at 13. 13 year olds shouldn't wear 3 or 4 inch heels because then they'll will look ridiculous and precocious. One to one and a half inch heels would look good on someone who is young. Kitten heels are always an option that go good with any age. Or, if you prefer something comfy, flats give the same dressy look as heels minus the discomfort.

Here's a breakdown of what I think...
Age 4-9: Really simple heels, no higher than 1-1 1/2 inches high.
Age 10-14: Shoes like kitten heels will look appropriate and not overdone. No higher than 2 1/2 inches.
Age 15-17: At this age girls have lots of temptations, but please no higher than 3 1/2 inches, you'll only look like your trying too hard.
Age 18+: Go crazy! Nobody will really care anymore.
These rules can be broken though for that rare super specical occasion.
No chunky or really bulky heels ever!!

I am way past 13, but my mom always said the a young lady should wait for her body to quit growing before wearing heals. It is believed that wearing heels is not so good for the development of the legs and hips. If you choose to wear them, be sure to wear them with class. Don't try to mimic some of those girls in the videos..because you will only cheapen your image. I have 12 and 13 year old daughters and I do not let them wear heels unless it is a special occasion...wedding ..theatre...things of that nature.

I think that you should start wearing high heels when you are 16. But short heels are okay for a 13 year old.

Age 12 to 13 is the perfect age to start wearing heels...nothing trampy just a nice modest heel. Heels pull a outfit together and force you in to better posture and lady like walking. Most flats do nothing for dresses ...

I'm 11 going on 12 and I have a pair of 3 inch wedges
I don't wear them out but I wear them a lot inside

i'm 13 too. I wear heels a lot (mostly because I need to look taller) and most people don't think it's weird or anything. Just don't wear them for everything, you'll look like you're trying too hard..

Since your only 13 kitten heels or wedges would be age approciate. I think that at 16 it would be okay to wear heels.
