First it isn't going to be one nation it is going to be a one way open border from Mexico. Mexico will not have a open border for USA or Canada to migrate to Mexico that you better understand.
Purpose is to lower wages in this country to to be more competitive in the world for multinational corporations. That is what it has always been the plan.
They want something like the EU.with limits. You need to read the whole brief that has been written. You won't like it.

Control.
Grouping countries into unions and then grouping those unions into unions is how I would go about creating a one world government. This would be the only way to create a one world government without trying to conquer the world like Hitler.
Anyways, I have a new theory as to why they are trying to do this. The United States is already a union, hence united. If the North American Union were to be created, then we would be a union within a union. States in the U.S. would not support the North American Union, which the states would end up breaking away from the U.S..
What if foreign countries know that this is the type of effect the North American Union would have on the U.S., which these foreign countries are influencing to have the North American Union created? It is a divide and conquer strategy.
Edit:
lvillejj,
The North American Union hasn't been created yet. They are trying to slowly cunningly merge the three countries together.

-------------Is this one on the Bush agenda for the new year? I must have missed it. But to answer your question, this will not happen. The United States and Canada are developed countries and they would never allow their economies to be severely depressed at the expense of unifying with a developing country---------
It has already happened. It is called the North American Union. IT IS REAL!! You can buy pizzas with pesos and the borders are about to be opened!

Whatever purpose there is that anyone could state accurately would still be horribly wrong.
Bad enough that America has gone down the path that rewards mediocrity and insists on the playing field being always fair.Life has always had winners and losers, haves and have-nots. It gave people reason to improve themselves.
Now, our politicians on BOTH sides of the political aisle are giving our nations away from us right under our damned noses.
IE: NAFTA

regrettably the data seems to corraborate this subject, and an huge majority are not responsive to it, nor can they see the undesirable implications. it is occurring very incrementally so it is not extremely discernible. in case you think of roughly it already commerce rules have precedent over our parliamentary legislations, and the typical public area is consistently contained in the potential of being privatized. Our civil rights have been undermined, and below the pretext of 9/11 Bush and gang have made a mockery of the invoice of Rights...what's ironic is that there are a number of unanswered questions related to 9/11 being an interior interest, in actuality there is so plenty extra data helping this rationalization than the nonsensical 9/11 fee document. And our mainstream media can't propagate the advice because of the fact their possession is contained in the palms of very few people who're with the schedule. until eventually human beings awaken and scent the espresso i think of this diabolical schedule will proceed.

I think they think it would let them bail out of a sinking dollar, and set up a new currency that might have credibility for a day or two. It won't work, or course, because as all our green paper comes home the U.S. economy will fall like a rock.
