I've looked at a lot of questions and answers and the men seem to hate being married. Are men really that unhappy in marriage? if yes, why?

I think that there are men who are unhappy with their marriage because of who they are married to. They either have a wife who nags, nags, nags, or they have a wife who gives, gives, gives. So, if you have a wife that nags, but doesn't give, you are not happy. If you have a wife that gives and doesn't nag, you are a happy man.

What I mean in giving is to tell him you appreciate him by the things he does for you. Give him love, food, and sex. He will be happy. Communication and attention are important too. Doing things for him, he will be happy! Telling him you love him each day and for thanking him for all he does, he will be happy and feel appreciative!

Nagging at him, will only want to be on the roof top than being with a contentious woman. Not showing respect for him on the things he does. Nagging about what didn't get done around the house, doesn't make him in a good mood, especially if he works every day of the week and expects to come home to a loving wife, but just gets complaints.

Men are unhappy because their woman doesn't know how to be a wife to him and because they could still be immature and selfish that they just want, but can't give to their husband what they need.

Men don't hate marriage, it's just that a lot of them don't like the woman they're married to. I think marriage is the greatest institution in the world, but I was very unhappy in my marriage. It had nothing to do with marriage, just the person I was married to.

Not all men hate being married.... Depends on the guy... My husband loves being married and we have a great marriage and I love being married to him so not all men are unhappy.

A lot of people who are unhappy in marriage (men and women alike) have more kids in hopes that the child(ren) will rebuild their relationship or use the children as a way of keeping the spouse around. I know that sounds sad, but it happens ALL the time.

I hope not. Men will complaint because that their nature of looking into an easy out. NO most of the men, I know are married and happy with the wife and kids.

If a man say that he is unhappy in his marriage, simple because he wants to have a one night stand, an opportunity to cheat and looks for an empathy woman who will listen to his garbage.

The same is true for women out here on YA, but that's because these are folks looking for answers.

In "real" life, studies reveal that men are generally VERY happy with marriage - so much so that they tend to be healthier and live longer when they're married.

marriage is very controlling and women want to change everything.

Every day prior to marriage I looked at porn no problem but now it is a crime.

Before marriage I could smoke but now I need to quit.

Before I could hang with the guys but now...........

It is such a long list, marriage is terrible, women hook us reel us in and then make us feel trapped and obligated and don't even get me started on all the b/s guilt.
