I agree with all the smoking bans nation wide, but I feel that it is unfair for smokers to have the burden of all the additional taxes on cigarettes. I think also in order to get the health in this country in order they should start taxing junk foods, including fast foods!

I don't think many people die from second-hand hamburgers. I have never seen someone intoxicated and driving froma milk shake.

Yes, I agree that we definitely should. And, we should also tax anybody who weighs over 200 pounds, anyone who eats Mexican food, everybody who does anything dangerous like ski, skateboard, surf, snowmobile, mountain climbing since that can also be bad for your health.

We might also consider taxing anyone who drives a car or flys in a plane since both are demonstrably dangerous. And, for sure, we should put a special tax on left-handed people, vegetarians and people in wheel chairs since catering for their special requirements is not only expensive, but a pain in tha a--.

Of course, that is only a short list off the top of my head. Using your logic I will compile a longer list of at least 200 things (or more) that should easily qualify. Think of what fun the government will have!

Why not let people live their lives as they see fit without even MORE government intervention? More taxes, more laws...it's decades past the damn time when enough is enough. Basically, I guess this is a nice way of saying ...Get the h*ll outta my damned business pal!

No way.

That sounds socialist to me. We all have a choice to be healthy or not, and that's pretty lame. If wanna be fat, I will regardless of a tax. It wouldn't help with health at all. Your just an R-tard.
