It is not just the hair but a whole number of things. Hair that is proportionate to the rest of the "image" could be long, short or medium cut.

It depends on the woman. I usually prefer longer hair on a woman, but short hair can look good too. It depends how they wear it.

I like longer hair, but in reality, I think it might get in the way a lot. My GF has shoulder length hair, and it seems to get everywhere.
