Using a narrow definition of rock and ignoring all of the "classic" bands because they really don't need to be named, I can say that if there is one band today that is making great rock and roll and is not one of those overwrought teen angst groups it is most certainly the Hold Steady.

some good rock bands are U2, limp bizkit, dave mathews band, marron 5, jet, ACDC, the darkness!!! my favorites would be Limp bizkit, linkin park, and Rob Zombie, so did this help? i hope so.

it depends what you consider rock!!!! but ill tellyou this much anything you hear in radio todays isnt good rock anymore !! its just depressed kids seeking attention! althhough i would suggest 90's rock.
