Why are asians so short
and why are all the guys so skinny?

Yao Ming being over 7 feet tall breaks that steretype of yours. As a matter of fact, a lot of northern Chinese are quite tall. Sumo wrestlers of Japan are anything but skinny.
The smaller stature of Asians has more to do with their diet. Most Americans take for granted the plentiful food they have. Food is not as plentiful and more costly considering how much money they earn for a living. Meat in particular is much prized but not everyone can afford to have it all the time. The lower protein in their diet does not allow them to grow as much. In Japan, the younger generation is signifcantly taller now that more protein is consumed. A lot of Asian-Americans are much larger than their parents since they have acess to plenty of food that their parents did not always have.
Those who perform laborous work expend more energy. Farmers tend to be shorter than city dwellers since they expend so much energy while city dwellers have extra energy for growth. Much of the Asian population do a lot of manual work.
Another factor is genetics. The larger your parents, the larger the offspring are more likely to be. Sometimes this can negate diet factor.

We lived in California in a predominantly Asian community. Our son was in full time Mandarin immersion school. Some of the Chinese Dads were taller than my 6'2" husband and proportionally built.

Why are you opening your mouth and displaying your ignorance and racism in public? You're not shameless, you're so woefully uniformed that you don't know enough to be embarassed.
Anyone who has lived in Asia knows how tall the various groups are. They're the same height as Caucasians and Africans.

wow...where do you live got to be at least 10 chunkier asian dudes at my high school but ya the height thing im stumped the tallest asian at my school is six foot the rest are below 5'8

here's a story that i think is true..
in asia, the weather is very hot, and over a long period of time, they adapt to it, making them short and skinny. but hey... not all asians are the same, don't judge them like that.

WHEN CREATION TOOK PLACE WHEN CONDITIONS WERE PERFECT FOR HUMAN EXISTENCE THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE GLOBE PRODUCED DIFFERENT FOLKS . ITS A CHEMISTRY WE , ALL, INCLUDING ANIMALS HAVE INCLUDING GENES. THE FOOD IN THE MANY AREAS VARIED TOO BUT IF YOU LOOK AROUND THE SMALLER PEOPLE ARE GETTING LARGER DUE TO MIGRATION TO DIFFERENT HUMAN AREAS WHERE THE FOOD IS FATTENING THEM. ETC. LOOK AT SUMMO WRESTLERS THEY ARE HUGE BECAUSE THEY STUFF THEMSELVES W/CERTAIN HIGH ENERGY FOODS.
