for those of you who don't know what a liger is, it's a hybrid of a tiger/lion. note: a grizzly/brown bear still outweighs the Liger.

Over 100 years ago there was a cruel sport of bear-baiting with more than just packs of dogs against bears. They tried a lion versus brown bear but the bear would crush the lions skull with one paw swat and they couldn't make money off betting because everybody knew what the outcome would be so no one would bet. So they brought in Siberian tigers with about the same results. When they brought in Bengal tigers which are smaller but much, much more powerful it did even out the odds.

Basically one paw swat from a brown bear crushed the skull of a moose or any other animal. What the trick is in the fight is for the liger or tiger or lion to completely, 100% dodge any and all paw swipes and to try to go for the throat. The liger would have to be on its toes and must have quickness and avoid a paw swipe at all costs. Large cats have experience at dodging tusks and horns and large canine teeth, but they would need to dodge a paw swipe which could be much more difficult than avoiding a deadly hippo bite or horns from a horned animal.

The bear would win because ligers, being hybrids tend to have genetic problems and don't live as long as their full blooded parents. Kodiaks are huge and vicious, the liger wouldn't stand a chance. Ligers also have a gentle easy going temperament.

Why a liger, although? that's no longer even a real animal. that is a stupid hybrid species, which (as others suggested) suffers from an risky DNA, and in many cases, important well being subject matters. SO! No, a liger would not stand a danger (in reality, even its length is a difficulty, via the undeniable fact that is a often ungraceful animal). right here's a extra thrilling question: Who might want to win in a wrestle, a Siberian tiger (the international's greatest cat), or a brown (grizzly) undergo, each and every of similar length/weight. that is a a lot harder hypothetical result to predict. And in case you want to understand the answer (or learn honestly, authentic-existence examples of this variety of wrestle), seem into the historic Roman Gladiator video games. They--to my horror--used to level those inconceivable animal encounters, and that i'm effective there is historic charges of which animals wound up positive.

Bear wins easily, the liger doesn't stand a chance

both would obviously be defeated. the kodiak brown bear would blow his conch shell to call for help from the flying unicorn. This would cause the flying unicorn to crush the kodiak brown bear's head along with the liger's heads into the surrounding concrete. Thus the flying unicorn has won the fight. obviously.

Well from my experiences with both of these creatures, the bear put up a better fight.
