My little girl is just having tons of fun kicking me on my left side (ribs), its so bad I can barely move. I didnt think she could be this strong. How the heck did she learn Tae-Bo. Is it normal to feel so much pain, and kicking on just one side?? Thanks

Unfortunately, that comes with the good and bad. try taking a warm bath, and she if she will relax alittle. I have seven so I know it sucks!!!!!! when they want to do what they want. Good Luck!

YES

Some things that work for some women. Are, laying back over a large exercise ball with the help of partner, so the baby will move. Some babies respond if someone pats your lower abdomen, so that the baby senses the vibrations and moves lower. Sometimes if you pat a steady rythum on your lower abdomen, that too can attract the baby and it will move.

Other women have told me that if they use a warm heating pad, not too hot, place it where they'd like the baby to move to, that the baby senses the warmth and moves in the direction that the heat is coming from. Do not use it on high, low or medium.

GOOD LUCK!

My sister in law felt like she had a TON of kicking and was in quite a bit of pain at 36 weeks and they found out at 38 weeks it had been braxston hicks/real mild contractions. She went in for her check up and found out she was at dilated to 8 cm and that what she thought were kicks were contractions, but she totally breezed through the labor and it was the best anyone has ever had....not sure if it is the same thing.

I feel your pain. I'm 34 weeks myself. My daughter is doing the same thing! She seems to have two favorite spots. One is under my right side (ribs also), the other is lower down near my pelvic area. I have tried the heating pad (I have a one you heat up in the microwave.) It seems to work best. Good luck.

yeah she is probable just got her feet that side for now and is moving around alot today. its not the best feeling to get it in the ribs cos you start finding it hard to move and breath. i sympathies with you my son would get right up under my ribs and stay there and move around it was hard to breath.
