I like the news site, it seems pretty unbiased and straight forward with the facts. I hadn't heard this, I wasn't surprised to hear the Rangel nutcase oppose it, I'll have to hear more details, hopefully unbiased ones.

This is more smoke and mirrors. Anyone who can't afford Health Insurance doesn't have it because they don't have the huge amount of cash it takes to add that to their already shrinking money supply. That kind of tax break will only help those who can already afford to pay for this in the first place. Further, he is once again shifting the burden to the states, who are mostly already broke themselves, just as he did with The No Child Left Behind Program. Many states are suing over that one as they are mandated to carry out the program, and then Bush did not send them the money to do it. How many Katrina's will it take before Americans realize the men who run BushCo are con artists and really only represent the wealthiest of us?

Tax decreases have been proven an effective way of expanding our economy and bringing increased tax revenues into the treasury.

I am therefore in favor of any tax cut. Ultimately, all Americans benefit from the growing economy whether they get the tax benefit or not.

I'm a little dubious of whether this will accomplish anything meaningful in the health care industry. We don't really need insurance as much as we need less expensive health care.

I'm also dubious of the information given us by the media. I always like to have another source to verify the information. The media has become a political power broker and is therefore disqualified as a dispassionate source of information.

I like the tax deductions for individuals, but any tax on the "employers" portion will just come out of the employees paycheck.
