I am wondering why I don't have LGBT friends or maybe I do and just don't know it. I am a very open minded person

I feel bad I don't have any LGBT friends. Should I?

You probably do. If you make it clear that you're accepting, and if you wanted to you could even go the extra-distance and be an ally (keep up with all the issues, actively work to better society's attitudes and laws), people will know you're an ok person to come to to talk to.

I'm not fully out of the closet. Most importantly, no one in my family but my cousin knows. She was the first person because I had a strong relationship with her and we can talk about anything. Plus, she is experienced and older. After like a couple of months later I told my 4 best friends. Now, I just tell people I'm real cool with and the people I have TOTAL trust in.

I "technically" haven't come out of the closet yet. But of course i told people i had confidence in. I wasn't about to go tell some random guy who would probably tell it to someone else. Although i should in order to come out i'm pretty shy so bleh.

I told my closest girl friend as it was something I felt quite mixed up over. She was very supportive and that gave me the confidence to tell others. I knew she wouldn't be in any way judgemental.

My immediate family, Mother, Brother and his fiance were aware but when Gwenneth and I moved into the house we were purchasing and held a house warming party, all were fully aware of our love.
After many years, sadly only my brother and his family and I are left, but the bond is as strong as ever.
May you always have friends, no matter what their persuasion.

Well i came out to my bff(who is still my best friend now). I wrote her a long *** letter about how I've been attracted to her since 9Th grade. And i told my friends about the letter, so i declared i was bi since boys are still attractive to me. So yeah maybe your friends just haven't decided yet idk but just chill and don't ask anyone yet.

I told my girlfriend, who I was on a break with, then I told my friends. My family's finding out slowly and on their own.

I told one of my friends but he wasnt my best friend, the reason i told him was because he had gay friends already and he was really trustworthy
