I'm not 100% sure it's over 300 pages, but I think it is. At any rate a great murder mystery book is South Beach Road by James Patterson and Pierre something. Sorry, forgot his last name.

It's a fast read and extremely interesting.

Eleven Days by Donald Harstad he was a cop who retired and decided to write a book but i have this book and have read it and it is very good. It's 332 pages.

ive been reading Karin slaughter books they are really good graphic and factual! Try indelabile. Tara Moss has become a good crime writer too.But Karins attention to detail is amazing!

"A Game of Patince" by Susanne Alleyn, a story of a cross-dressing serial killer in revolutionary France. It just came out last year, and should be out in paperback by now.
