duh, they don't! They just say they do to make themself sound "open minded" Have you ever heard any of them repeat Rush's talking points on any show? He outlines them very well, so i don't see why it would be hard for them to repeat, since that is obviously what they are set on these days after viewing CNN

well, it's two fold...

first, I do like seeing other takes on the news and the other side... so I get that with Fox... I don't listen to conservative radio though...

second, I can basically know exactly what conservatives are going to be talking about that day, by watching it... it's like a scouting report...

while politics isn't exactly war... an example to explain it to you could be "if you could listen to the enemies radio chatter, would you?"... you would be a fool not to... knowing what you're up against is half the battle...

maybe your question best explains why many conservatives seem to have no real concept of what most liberals actually believe and think? I think that Fox news often only discusses the extremists of the party and you guys think that those are the main ideas of the party...

maybe you guys should scout the enemy a little bit...

Yes, I personally listen to KLIF in DFW. Dave Ramsey is actually a pretty smart conservative. They also have Fred Thompson who can speak intelligently though I don't always agree with him.

Sometimes its just fun to listen to an opinion completely different from yours, as opposed to listening to someone agree with you. I watch O'Reilly once in a while because I think some of the things he says are just ridiculous. Other people may watch it to get a perspective on what the other side thinks. And then some people may just watch/listen so they have something to yell about?

They are always looking for statements that can be taken out of context and twisted to use against the person saying it.

When a liberal says something that could be considered controversial, conservatives are required to listen to everything a they said and to understand that the person didn't really mean it that way. When a conservative says something questionable, it is almost always run over and over again just as a sound bite, with no opportunity to explain context and meaning.

To see how Fox tries its best to follow the line of the Bush White House. Also to see what liberal idea the guys at Fox are attacking each night.

Your very statement indicates a closed mind. I bet you watch ONLY Faux, sorry FOX. Liberal means free and open minded. You take in all the ideas and come to a conclusion, something that apparently you dismiss a priori.
Aside of that, FOX is entertaining I must admit. They have carried Sophistry to new hights!

Liberals and non-Republicans get their information form a variety of sources. Fox actually presents news. Only about 10% of the time, however. I also enjoy watching Hannity and listening to Limbaugh to see how many lies they can tell in one day. Sometimes it is truly amazing to hear the number of lies they tell.

I read and listen to opinions I don't necessarily agree with because i think it's interesting to see what everyone else's opinions are. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean you should ignore it. By the way, I'm a liberal.
