Why are people so brainwashed about politcs and society in general?

Has anybody else noticed how brainwashed people seem they believe everything their governments tell them instead of chosing what they want to believe in everyone where I live in the U.S. acts like a robot you know they act like U.S. is good everyone else in the world is bad

really the U.S. is like a modern version of Nazi Germany and schools just seem to teach kids that there is nothing they can do about it so they should just learn to accept it

Brainwashed? There is so much fighting, bickering and differences of opinion, how can you say we're brainwashed? Education is supposed to enable us to use our brain - not just tell us what to think. I don't know why you think "everyone in the US" believes the US is good and everyone else is bad ---- that's not the message I get at all.

Sad isn't it. Most are followers and believe everything that the government tells them. Look here, look there and they respond without reservation and that is just what conditioning that is wanted. If people would ask questions and insist that disclosure is eminent or it gets a bullshit lable. For instance, let me ask you a question that even educated people will affirm.
Do you believe that we actually went to the moon in 1963? If so, then you fall into that same catagory because the technology of that time period was before nanotechnology and the vehicles that were depicted in the Apolo mission to the moon would have been roughly the size of Kansas. Now does that prompt any more questions that you might have? We saw it on tv therefor it must be so is the mentality our society is developing and everytime you are told to look one way look to see what else is going on that you aren't supposed to see!!!

because of the media mostly , people need to realize this is a free country but if you do not let people speak there minds you lose freedoms and then more freedoms , we already have to carry a national id card by 2008 , I only hope they don't get ready to have all Americans implanted with a r.f.i.d. , but because of the media and the fears in this world that the media create {somethimes based on nonesense } we will have to have a r.f.i.d. . America is turning into a high tech version of Nazi Germany , but the people seem not to care .

They start you off with religions and fear so people naturally fall into the deceptions. We only have one party in this country. It is the funding for both of the "Parties" that you see. The owners of the big businesses control the government. The front crooks, morons, idiots, perverts, crooks, and occasionally one of their own to watch over things. You are distracted with movies, TV, organized sports, gambling, and other mindless activities. You have trained how not to think in schools. We are becoming a Stepford Nation.

That's kind of a negative way to put it, but you migth be rigth, i really don't know since i don't live in the USA.
But from outside your country, i believe your actual government have given a really bad image to the people all around the world, and i don't really think american's deserves it.
