PC was formatted and all 80g on one drive .... need to make new drives without losing the c drive info... help please

If you formatted the 80G and used the whole space as one partition you can most likely get 3rd party partitioning software such as Partition Magic or just use Windows XP: Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management options to create another partition.

Do not use win built-in partition utilities.
It will destroy data on ur HDD.
so u should be looking for partition software.
I use Acronis Disk Director.
It's very reliable, fast and rather cheap.
Also unlike partition magic (it's another partition utility) there is partition recovery feature included in Disk Director.

Use Acronis Disk Director. It can resize, move, copy, split, and merge partitions without losing your data. It costs cheaper than Partition Magic and I think it is handier. Follow the link below.
