I mean really! Romo's stats aren't all that impressive, plus he is soley responsible for the Cowboy's loss to Seahawks in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Westbrook, on the other hand, had over 1,200 yards rushing, led the Eagles and all RB in receiving, and, along with Jeff Garcia, carried the Eagles into the playoffs. I don't understand how that inexperienced QB got in. He is the definition of overrated

When the voting was done, w about four games left in the season Romo haad the best stats in the NFC, which was impressive despite the lack of any real standout QBs in the NFC this year.

His next four games weren't nearly as impressive, but the decision was already made. Dropping Romo doesn't help Westbrook unless he can play QB

As for Romo losing the game singlehandedly....yeah maybe, but without his performance earlier in the season the Cowboys had ZERO chance of making the playoffs.

And even if Dallas made that field goal, it's doubtful there inconsistent defense could have kept Seattle out of FG range w over a minute remaining.

Tony Romo recieved too much media attention which was way too much for the young starter. He was the fan favorite because he's playing for the nations 'star' team.
But also you have to see how the pro bowl postitions were picked before the playoffs started, Tony Romo lost his game after he was chosen, again, adding to the media pressure on him.
Brian Westbrook was on the Eagles team but because Jeff Garcia came in, many thought that he wouldnt have a star season many hoped.
Westbrook proved though, at a wrong time, after the votes were put that he was too late to be in the pro bowl. He was proving many 2 weeks before the playoffs and even during them. He had a good season this year but, unfortunatly, didnt make the pro bowl.

it doesn't matter, Tony Romo is only the third-string quarterback so he won't be playing for a long time, but that is wierd. Westbrook has 257 rushing yards in the postseason and that's the highest right now, Westbrook should deserve a running back position in the Pro Bowl.

The Pro Bowl is a popularity Bowl. Brian Westbrook was way better, but did you see all the press Romo got? He got tons more, therefore he got into the Pro Bowl. Another example is John Lynch. The guy, since his name is familiar, was voted in, though he didn't have nearly as many tackles, interceptions, or sacks as many other safeties.

Well Romo isn't the s**t or anything but look at the current crop of starting qb's and tell me if you really think there were many better this year.btw some of the perenial pro-bowl qb's got hurt this year.As 4 the westbrook thing, yeah that's bullshit. Finally played a full season and he was awesome.

Honestly there isnt too many "great" QB's in the NFC this year and Romo was doing well at the time so he got the spot.

I dont think its right since he didnt even play the whole year. Show's how bad the NFC is this year.

GO NINERS

I agree with you, I think the media had a lot to do with that, trying to hype Romeo up, took over the team from Basilio and won so after they beat Houston the media was saying who great Romeo & T. O. were and form the girls he dates, all full of crap. Westbrook is more deserving than Romo

They picked Romo during his 15 minutes of fame, he shouldn't even be there, and everybody knows that now.

i agree, but there is a lack of good QBs in the NFC, unlike the AFC, where Tom Brady didnt even make it.
