Spray a post emergent crabgrass herbicide on it, then buy some pre-emergent granules (Scotts with Halts) is a brand name. This will stop the existing seeds from germinating. Do this once a year in early spring and spot spray with post emergent when crabgrass is small and your problem will be solved. The pre-emergent stops all seeds from germinating including grass seed so take this into consideration. Good luck
