The doctor never gave his family a good answer, and they acted like jerks. If there are doctors here can you answer? He developed fluid in his belly near his testicles, so they took him to Kaisar hospital and doctors did all sorts of tests. They gave the father pills & drugs galore and told him he had "colon cancer". Well 4 weeks later he died, but of kidney and liver failure. Would the drugs have anything to do with it??

Colon cancer if not caught early can be wicked. The hospital you mentioned is very well respected and I would say the pills (drugs) were to keep him comfortable during a very painful battle with cancer. I sounds like he died from major organ failure due to the cancer which had probably spread to his liver and pancreas. I'm sorry for your friends loss. I lost my father on January 2Nd. He died in the hospital parking lot after seeing the cardiologist and getting a clean bill of health. Life isn't fair sometimes. But I know the doctors did everything they could.. sometime **** just happens. Good luck.

Metastic (cancer that has spread) colon cancer is always lethal. It spreads to neighboring organs and takes a toll on the body. Kidney failure and general organ failure is usually the final stage of the disease.

it sounds like your friend's father's cancer was MUCH too advanced by the time he was diagnosed at the hospital. it is typical, that near the end of life, the kidneys and the liver give out.

i'm sorry for your friend's loss. death is not easy no matter how old or how young the patient is.

He most likely died from terminal ca of colon with multiple metastasis to liver and possible kidney with ascites(fluid in abdminal cavity due to liver structure distruction)..To findout the real reasion how he died from, should give to pathologist for autopsy(cut open the body to examte each orgam by eye and by microscope.

Medical malpractice attorneys in your state will review medical records and procedures surrounding the death of a family member. You can request medical records and a copy of the death certificate and have a series of doctors or medical malpractice attorneys review the information. Doctors sometimes treat people as if they were customers driving through the drive through at McDonald's instead of actual human beings. That is why malpractice is there..to be sure we all get a humane and equal protection under medical law.

well that is really hard to tell. first they need to get with the hospital and get his medical records. if anything looks suspicious i would take it to a loryor. i know i spelled that wrong. but anyway.colon cancer can cause lots of things to shut down. even though u have an illness like cancer. or any at all. when u die it is usually from something else. hard to explain. its like a aids patient. they have aids but when they die it is associated from something else.. sorry to hear about his father.
