That wouldn't be called the United States. It would be some future permutation of what is left of the pieces that were once America.

If we divide this nation up into sections then America would no longer be America as she was meant to be from the beginning.
Dividing up America would then fit right into the agenda going on in Iraq where they want it divided into 3 parts for each major faction.
A house divided will not stand and if were divided as a country we will not stand, it well be ruled by dictators giving the citizens no rights whatsoever.

Before the Civil War, one of the Southern regulars in Washington (possibly Clay) suggested two presidents - one for the north, one for the south.
I don't see how it could work with 2, let alone 4.

They would constantly argue and never get anything done.
They could constantly undermine each other and never get anything accomplished.
They would expand the corrupt American lobby to four times it's current size.
And there would be continuous federal elections in the US. The news would be nothing else.
No thanks. I would much rather see Donald Trump, Rosie O'Donnall, Brittany Spears and Mel Gibson in the news every day.
