Barbara Lee, congresswoman from California. because she is black and a woman and someone who was courageous enough way back when to vote against giving George Bush unlimited power to wage war and do whatever he pleased to limit civil liberties in this country. We all see where that got us today. If I were to write a book like John F Kennedy did years ago called "Profiles in Courage" she would be the first one to go into that book.

Wesley Clark on the Democrat side because he is a moderate Dem who would be good on social justice issues and better than anyone the Republicans could run on national defense. Because lets face it the Dems are taking a "problem there is no problem here" position on terrorism and one major threat, one any size terrorist incident will take out a liberal or left moderate Dem candidate like Brian Urlacher taking out a running back. Clark would be stronger (unless Powell ran as a Repub) and could bring Dem voters back to voting Dem nationally. Howeve,r Hillary announced today so look for another Republication President. The National Democractic Party is completely and totally disconnected from local Dems. The national ticket is an anchor from the very start. Gonna do it again. Clark could win.
