Nope. Not possible at this time. But you can see the past.

if its going to be possible its going to be possible to travel only into the future because of the linear time. In linear time there is no way to cause it to go backwards, its like a bullet, it wants to go one direction, yes you can change its direction, in the case of time that would be the change in the speed at which it passes, but you can't actually get it to go backwards. There is some rather more complicated theories out there, which go far beyond what Einstein theorized, which if I remember right didn't completely rule out reveres travel through time, just ruled it out through any simple linear means, many of the newer theories use things like wormhole physics and parallel plains of existence to produce the outcome though, and without any real hard evidence other than words and ideas they are mostly written off as sci-fi notions.

hope this helps it helped me

We are already travelling in time, from past to future. To be able to go back in time, time would have to slow down then come to a stop and go backwards. How "long" would the stop last.....

Time as we know it (in our universe) is influenced by gravity, all mass curves space a little, and affects time a little also, but insignificantly. However has been observed around massive objects like black holes, where the gravitationnal pull is so strong that its pull on its surrounding space, affects time by slowing it down.

But then think about this: if we create a time machine in the future and that machine cames to the past, then it would be like it always existed...

Although there is no proff that it is impossible to go back in time, it is unlikely to happen, but then again...

I heard this once and thought it was a pretty cool explanation.
If a clock moves one minute it takes the image of the new time a split second to reach your eye. If you could move away from the image of the clock faster than the image of the new time was moving toward you you would be a minute (or split second) behind. Would you then be able to go faster than the image of a previous minute?

insufficient evidence or lack of any proof from visitors from the future,or paradoxes is hindering that possibility, but the concept of time itself is flexible, being that it might be possible if it loops back on itself and create an alternate dimension or outcome of events

Yes, I set my watch to go off five minutes in the future and now I am there.

there hasn't been any record of time travel.:) but it hasn't been proved that it's impossible either. so it remains to be revealed
