ban the licence fee. BBC don't produce much thats good and anything that can be is repeated. the other channels do exactly the same thing but they are free. If the bbc want more money then the license fee should be abolished and they can start using adverts.

yes it should be. the bbc put on repeats and lots of rubbish. elderly people must struggle with the fee, and alot of them do not have digital tv so they are paying for tv they can not watch ie bbc 3 4 etc. and the bbc waste money on lavish adverts for their progs.
and if we are all being forced to go digital thats more expence.

I think so. I watch telly most of the day. Luckily it doesn't go up, but if I just watch it for a couple of minutes for a whole month (I never would though), I'd still have to pay the same amount. Total rip off.

I think its a good thing that the BBC feel they have to be accountable for all their programs. And that they put quality programs on, even though they know they won't be as popular as say a USA sitcom. Also it allows for experimental comedy programs to develop, rather than having to make sure its a hit first time.

If you've ever been to the states and seen the amount of adverts there, you'll be praising the BBC!

Yes! But you make sense, so no one in the positions to do anything about the fees will think of this.
