Sheehan was needed as a propaganda tool by the left before the elections. Now she is not needed and has gotten used to the spotlight that she so desperately needs. Instead of blaming Bush for her sons death, she needs to honor him as a hero and not drag his name through the mud.

I think that she found solace in the attention that she garnered with the "anti-war" movement. As you have probably noticed, now that the election is over, nobody cares enough to keep pumping money into the movement. I'm afraid her mind is crumbling now. Mentally, she's just off and I blame that on all the people who used her until they didn't need her anymore. Now, she's stuck in the anger stage of grief and it's just not fair to her. I think she'll need counseling in order to proceed in the grieving process. It's evil to use a grieving mother the way she was manipulated and used. For shame!

She is not anti-American, that phrase is a tool used by people who cannot think of anything thoughtful and insightful so they try to use the scare tactic of calling people anti-American. Personally, Cindy Sheehan annoys the living hell out of me and I am happy she is stepping away but she is as American as you can get because she used her rights that this country was built upon, she used her right to civil protest, she used her right to freedom of speech to question authority and something she did not believe in and felt strongly against. Some people dont just follow blindly to whatever their countries tells them and some people arent afraid to express their disgust with their country.

Sheehan has every right to criticize as has every citizen. As a matter of fact it is imperative in a democratic society, assuming we are that. Sheehan has sacrificed more than most other critics of the Iraq mistake. There is NO honor in dying for an immoral cause. And that hurts.

She has been used by the liberal Democrats and will be thrown to the curb soon. She seems a bit touched.

Only Republicans would call a mother acting with good intentions out of the love for her son brain dead and anti-american.
There is no end to the audacity of Republicans attacking American citizens.
