After all It wasn't him that started that old crazy Asian war and he was proud to go and do his patriotic chore. He did also realise the wants and needs of a woman her age but admittedly he would get his gun and put her in the ground if he could.

If you think she was right do you not at least think she could close the door quietly as that would be the decent thing to do instead of slamming it all the time?

LOL,no it wasn't right of Ruby to take her love to town.When you marry someone it's through sickness and through health.She should have stood by her man.

You omitted to cite that she had done this 100 times before.

That alone suggests that it was now an integral part of Ruby's lifestyle. Since there is no mention of any adverse reaction previously, that may suggest "implied consent" on behalf of the alleged injured party.

Absolutely not. Tragic yes but that does not release one from the vows. If it was okay with soldier boy that is another matter. But he is clearly not on board with her solution to the problem. If she respected him at all she should divorce him first then go to town.

Besides, if he is the one singing, his tongue still works.
