She could. The GOP is kind of a shambles right now. For everybody saying too many people hate her, at least as many people hate George Bush and he managed to get elected at least once. If the GOP doesn't put up a strong candidate she could do it.

Gambling odds are a much better predictor of results than any poll because, as you said, people are putting their money where their mouths are. For example, in the last election, many polls had Kerry winning the election, whereas gambling odds favored Bush. I am curious to see a comparison of the odds on Hillary winning from two months ago, prior to the latest push by Obama and Huckabee. I would imagine that at that point she was more of a favorite, and could still potentially fall more, especially if Obama wins Iowa.

Actually I see her winning the democrats nomination for Vice President and winning if she runs with John Edwards. Many people like her and she sure has name recognition but her husband has too many that don't trust him. And too many women don't like woman candidates.

Edwards has quietly been out there working to build a strong base. That man can pull off miracles. My gosh, he is a democrat and a senator from a southern state. Thought that didn't happen anymore.

Obamma is the republican's dream. If he should get the nomination, the Swift Boat party would have a field day out of Obama's lack of experience. His only two years as a senator would make him a wet behind the ears national joke. Obama knows he is not yet winnable and knows it. He is just trying to get his name out for the future.

Probably not.

She has a lot going for her, but she also has a lot going against her.

I think it likely she will get the nomination, and if she does she will get a great many women to vote for her just because she's a woman.

That being said, she has so many people that would not even THINK of voting for her, I don' t think she can win.

Remember, just because someone doesn't have any chance at all of winning a general election doesn't mean the Democrats wont nominate them.

Consider this, Bush junior always adresses the nation with a speech that every single time does not offer a resolution on Irag, And yes She married Bill and that has nothing to do with Her being uncapable of running the country, Bush´s daughters, busted for alcohol abuse at places that I know back in Austin,TX.
We have nothing to loose by letting a female become the President, you go girl... more power to you and by the way ... I am a US ARMY veteran.

No her husband will win it for her, Americans generally believe that Bill was better than he was due to the cheap oil boom of the 90's that was engineered by Bush 1 w. the first Gulf war (that the world now has to pay forever for).

Unlikely. She's very well-hated. Bill won office by winning the women's vote, but she turns off a lot of women.

I think the better question would be, who will you chose, hillary or barak?

I doubt it very much. Her husband is an immoral dirty trickster, and we must tar her with the same brush for standing by and saying nothing, and for helping him to conceal his misconduct. Her lack of ethics reveals a character too weak and malleable to be head of state.
