All give yourselves 2 days to write down as many names you can think of.
Listen carefully to conversations and TV. Read everything you can get your hands on and analyse everything for possible names. Even if you write short sentences down - this may lead to names.
Then all get together and read them all out! You will probably have a great laugh too!

There's a diffrent way for everyone. Either way, it's hard.
You have to first figure out what kind of name will suit the music you play, for example, you probably don't want to name your band Picnic With Daisies if you play goremetal.
Just try out a lot of diffrent names and see what everyone can agree upon. Unless you are starting your band and finding members afterward. Then you can name it whatever you want and the other beaches have to like it or get out because it's your band. But you're probably not a dictator.
It's just a matter of finding what works for everyone. Maybe you can try getting everyone to think of a handful of names and choose the one you all like best.
Take my advice, don't cut out words from a magazine, put them in a hat and draw. I did that once and our name turned out to be The Unexpected Ted Bob. Thank god we were only in junior high.

A famous way is to put magazines and newspapers all over the floor. Eyes shut, throw 2 darts > The words they stick in - group name!

Find something that gives meaning to your band, or just something really wierd that no one has ever thought of and are sure to remember. Not too long though.

Choose the first letter of your dads dead dog. Then look up in the dictionary the word 'Carminative' and then multiply it by 3.
