NO take it from me...it worked for about 2 months, then totally stopped working. I'm taking magnesium right now for constipation and it's the ONLY thing that has EVER worked. I have to take more than the bottle says too, but it's okay because it's natural and it's not a drug like zelnorm. For it to work on me, it HAS to be capsule form. I take about 6 capsules and increase when I get constipated. You should give it a shot!

It works for IBS with constipation.

Probably, but so do regular antidepressants. IBS is usually caused by anxiety and the antidepressants reduce that.
