What does that mean?
Does that mean the computer takes a 250 watt supply.
If so how do I check my computer to see if it takes a 250 watt supply.
I have a Compaq 5441

according to the specs on the compaq site you have a 235w powersupply.

Actually, your system is quite dated. At least when it comes to gaming. You're running an old school willemette core pentium with relatively small ram by today's standards.

Fine for 95% of applications.... newer game titles full under the other 5% though

if you still have the box it came in it should say how many watts it has on that. if not you may have to open it up, it will say how many watts it has on the inside. if your computer has more than 250w, may i suggest buying a better graphics card. graphics cards aren't usually very good if the only require a 250w power supply

Your power supply is only 110 watts.. unless you changed it. See:

You will need to upgrade your power supply, but open your case and check it to make sure before you invest in a new one...

Hmmm... 540 Mhz... you may want to consider a new computer.

Open you the system and take a look at the power supply, it should plainly state what the wattage is.

Thats odd though, if it were a really good cardm, it would require a lot more juice.

Try checking the manual...it may or may not say.
Also you could open you case up and check the power supply, it should to you how many watts its capable of outputting.
