Kobe is more of a perimeter player and not under the basket as much as someone like Duncan or Kevin Garnet, when he does dunk its a marvelous thing. You may also notice he is dunking less the last few years, age, leg injuries and the triangle offense may be some of the contributing factors.

I hate Kobe, I think he's stuck up, but he doesn't dunk because he does have a good shot if he is open for it. He knows he can nail it if he has a chance to shoot, so he doesn't want to risk it: it's more work to move into the center and get by defenders, when you can shoot a 2 or 3. I hate Kobe though, he's stuck up.

Maby he working on other parts of his game, since we all know he can dunk he might be trying to go on to working more with footwork or his defense, or has a injury he doesn't want to come down hard on. I really don't know but I know what you mean a game can be great but it just makes it a whole lot better when you get a few dunks.

it is hard to dunk all the time, you need to have your legs underneath yourself to begin with, and you cant be taking big steps to get around someone and then expect to dunk it all the time
