I'm fairly fond of Express. They have a variety of sweaters. I especially like the light-weight turtleneck sweaters - they can be worn by themselves, or with a suit if need be.

Dorothy Perkins (UK store) have a great selection of jumpers and cardigans that you can dress up with a chunky belt or subtle accessories and ballerina/wrap style jumpers are pretty and professional looking with a skirt or smart trousers.
