Did he really know it was your birthday, no possibility of forgetting, or were you testing him? Just ask him straight out, what the heck, might be a Good laugh once your over the pissed part, some excuses are priceless. Then just dump him, sounds like he wasn't e-mailing that much already and you or anyone deserves someone who treats them much better. Just remember to get that excuse for future laughs!

If He is your boyfriend, then most definately yes. But he may just need some reminding. Have a friend hint about it to him or something to make sure he remembered. Like "hey I got Laura a ____ for her bday. Did you get anything for her?" But if he's not being considerate, it may be time to move on.

Ummm... is he your bf? Anyways, a b-day is just like any other day. That being said it is always nice to know that others are thinking about you on such a day! Happy Birthday- incase he doesn't or hasn't gotten around to it!

definitely. the least he can do is e-mail. let him know you're pissed though... don't just let things slide and then be pissed at some random moment in time. you have to confront him now.

dump him if he doesn't. my bf didn't call me for my bday and then he appologized the next day. but you know what? it wasn't worth it. things got way worse and i wish i would have gotten out of the relationship a long time ago.

I think he just forgot, had something bad happen, or he couldn't contact you in any way. If it's not one of those, you can be very pissed!
