First thing you have to do is find out what graphics adapter you have. If you have a store bought PC, you can find the OEM Specifications for your make and model on line. If it is a custom built, or upgraded machine you will have to either ask the person who built/upgraded your PC, or crack open the tower and locate the graphics adapter, or the graphics chip set on the motherboard if your system has on-board video.

Once you know what graphics your system has, you can search for, download and install a driver that will get you back in business.

There is one other possibly easier way. If you have an un-modified manufactured PC and one of the recovery Cd's will just restore original drivers, you can get your 3d back up this way.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

A 3D accelerator is software on the graphics card that allows your computer to render images from games that have 3D figures, characters, etc. Also when you got your computer monitor or graphics card it should have come with a CD with driver installation/reinstallation(and/or a diagnostics program for the the monitor or graphics card. Find that CD and reinstall all drivers and go to the manufacturer's website and download new driver updates&hardware/software updtes also that should fix everything.

Install the video drive found on the manufacture's website. Otherwise go out and buy a new card and install it in your computer.
