can you have an apple computer hook up to a wireless network where only pc's are currently hooked up

yes you can.in fact the apple computers' airport card can easily detect the signal from your router---just make sure that the tcp/ip settings have been set to configure using dhcp & turn airport card on.

Yes, if you have the right wireless software in all of them. At our local public library, there is wireless internet access and people use both pcs & macs.

Yes, you can mix and match between Mac and PC on the same network, both use the standardised networking protocols to communicate so it doesn't matt what 'type' each machine is.
