God knows I am tired of being told how unique and different and original I am.
I want more than anything to feel how alike and connected we all are.
Less lonesome that way...

You are unique. Just like everyone else in the world.
Hehe just a joke I like. Anyway the real answer is yes, everyone in the world in unique. Scientifically, we are unique because our genes are different. You may think that the percentage of different genes is large, but in fact all the people on this planet have genes that are 99% the same. In that remaining 1%, our hair color, eye color, talents, personality, height, weight, etc. are determined. The only exception in that is identical twins who have the same genes, but even in that case one can still tell the difference between them based on maybe a stray freckle, or their personality.
What makes me unlike everyone else is that I am not anyone else but me. I am me because I am unique and visa versa. If I were to tell you what made me unique I would simply be describing myself, my qualities, features, talents; all those things make me who I am and therefore make me unique.

As it has been said - everyone is unique. Our body is shaped just a little different from other people's body's, thus giving everybody their unique sound quality. ( I'm a singer) Everyone has unique fingerprints. Also, everyone has their own unique way of seeing the world (reality) from their own unique set of eyes - interpreted from their own unique set of circumstances (where and when they were born) and experiences.
So, what makes me unique? I was born a certain day of a certain month in a certain year to a certain family. I grew up experiencing certain situations and events and evolved through my own interpretations of said events from the knowledge I gained. I have a very unique way of seeing things. Now I have a unique way of expressing my viewpoint - through song and visuals. Most people want to blend or fit in, usually despairing about the very thing that makes them unique. Instead of feeling out of it, because you don't think you're like other people, look at what a wonderful unique person you are and learn to express your own viewpoint of your world.
All is well in my world.

Too straight a question. A person is a set of thoughts. What goes on in ones brain is what defines a personality. Since no two people can think alike all the time, EVERY ONE IS UNIQUE.

well, of course, each person is unique. even among "identical twins" each has her/his own personality, etc. i have certain talents/characteristics which, while unusual, are shared by a minority of others to some degree, from my experience. very "esoterically" inclined from a very early age, i'm quite "sensitive" to "energies". i.e. i can feel/see energy fields of people, places, things. being in "good" energy is pleasant and often uplifting. being in "bad" energy" is just the opposite, and can drain a "clairsentient" in no time. thus, i kind of have to plan who and what i want to be around, given the choice. this uniqueness helps me in everyday life to "read" people instantaneously, energetically. i can tell how clear or toxic they are, etc., where they're "coming from", etc. so, i know who to avoid. the person you're dealing with may be all smiles and charm, and have the right rap,and answers---but when you "see" that his heart is tight shut , and his "energy" makes you nauseous, you know you're in the presence of someone to avoid, for example. btw being out in nature, or visiting sacred sites, or being around "wise" people is always good, needless to say. being around socio/psychopaths and places with a lot of people gathered is usually not too favorable. also, those born in the year of the dragon are automatically viewed as unique and complex, or so i'd like to believe. ;-)))))))))

Everyone is unique. It is interesting because people spend there entire lives trying to be like everyone else. The ones that are truely themselves are the really unique. They are not afraid of their own personality like so many others are.

I am starting to become tired of myself because every day I am trying to attack generic responses from my peers. I express disdain for generic answers my classmates give to get the correct answer, when students are praised for giving a detailed and "smart" response to a question. I challenge that anyone can memorize, not interpret, and present. I am unique because....because. Because of my restlessness, understanding. Because I am an artist.

I'm unique, as well all are.
My characteristics which tend to isolate me are:
*I love to work out and study the martial arts.
*I treat everyone with respect and dignity, including my students.
*I honestly believe in and live my life according to these basic principles:
**Duty (to my God and my country)
**Honor (through my actions and in my vocation)
**Courage (to do the right thing for those who cannot do for themselves)
**Justice (if it's within my control, and sometimes if I have to TRY to make a situation within my control, I'll do my best to see justice done).
Needless to say, I'm not the most popular person in the world (my first ex-wife -sorry- left me, because she said that she was tired of waiting for me to "change the **'ing world.", and most of the teaching staff at my school hates my guts. Oh well, ...).
Peace.

If the gene count was only 30, instead of 30,000 and the genes only had on/off positions; every one on earth, save identical twins, would still be unique.
