ya, you can get pregnant if you are not ovulating or on your period. you can get pregnant any time when you have sex (protected or unprotected)
protected only when condom breaks or something like that.

Actually, there are instances in which sperm has been shown to live in the female body for up to seven days. Ovulation generally occurs ten to fourteen days after the first day of a woman's period, so if she has sex near the end of her period or up until the time of her ovulation, the released egg can potentially be fertilized. Also, the ovaries may release eggs at random times during the month every once in awhile, so it is theoretically possible for a woman to get pregnant any time she isn't menstruating.

If she's concerned, around the time her next period is due she should take a home pregnancy test. Have her do it in the morning as soon as she gets up, as taking the test first thing yields the most accurate results.

Sperm live in a woman's body for 2-3 days, but as many as 5 days. So yes, she could get pregnant if she ovulates within a few days of having unprotected sex. Women very rarely get pregnant while they're having their period. A period means the egg was released but wasn't fertilized and is now being released from the uterus. But for a woman who does not want to be pregnant, she should never risk unprotected sex.

you can get pregnant any time there is an ovary in your fallopian tube. this happens just after you ovulate, you can ovulate at any time including, sometimes during a period. it is very difficult to be certain. The best precaution is to always use contaception if you dont want to get pregnant. if you have already had unprotected sex in the last few days you can always take the morning after pill with advice from a qualified pharmacist or doctor. if its too late for that then you need to get a test and seek medical advice.

Anything is possible when having unprotected sex. The best advice I can give is to tell her to take a pregnancy test the week her period is due. If it's negative then she should repeat the test a week or two after the period is missed.

As long as your friend is having unprotected sex (with a guy) and he cums inside her there's a very stong chance that she can become pregnant.
