I just got a pet fish, my step-dad says that you need to w8 3 days before you feed them, I say, feed then every like twice a day. who is right?

you are. If you know what kind of fish it is, do an internet search for it, and you will find info to confirm your ideas. Plus much more that you may need to know, like how much food, and when to change/filter the water, etc. Fish are a lot of work, but they are beautiful to watch!

Does your stepdad hate fish? I think twice a day is good. That's what I did when I had fish and they lived a long time.

yes...twice a day...but not to much...the more you feed them the sooner youll have to change the water unless you have a good filter system....
