I'm a white American of Dutch descent and she is Latin American of Argentine descent. She has brown hair, light skin, green eyes, and sharp facial features that Caucasians generally have, in other words she looks like a regular Caucasian women. But for some reason when I tell some people that I'm dating an women from Argentina they think its an interracial relationship when IMO I don't think it is. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Argentina populated mostly by people who migrated there from Germany, Italy, and France which are all white countries? So really, we may be of different cultures but not race, I’m I correct?

I agree with you. I´m from Uruguay, which is next to Argentina and I never saw myself as being of a different race as people who are Caucasian. I have light brown hair, green eyes and light skin and my great grandparents came from France and Spain. There are many people, especially in these countries, whose grandparents or great grandparents came from some part of Europe and therefore look like a regular Caucasian. So I don´t think they are of a different race, they just were born in a different part of the world. Nowadays there is such a great racial diversity that people of so many different races live in the same part of the world.

Why do you care what other people think.
I do believe that they are correct in the fact that it IS an interracial relationship but who cares if those women make you happy.
If you want to be correct, tell them that we (your white friends) are all decendants from one original (if you believe in evolution) BLACK prehistoric man, as evidenced by Dr. Leaky and 'lucy'. If you believe in creation, then tell them that the catholic church acknowledges that Jesus was described in the bible (olive skin, wooly hair, etc) as looking more like the women that you date than a white person. This should MAKE them never want to bring up that topic again !

It is only obvious you are engaging with the wrong people, why they would even say that! What difference does it make whom you desire to go out with. You are both human beings a man, and a woman whom are attracted to each other, it does not matter where you were born or where your ancestors came from, but what is important is how you found each other, I find that a very beautiful thing.

Nope..
Yours is not a interracial relationship...
One would have to be really ignorant to consider it so...
